Dig & Clean Roblox Dig & Clean Tier Lists
Gear rankings, rarity tiers, and the upgrade path the current meta agrees on.
Tier lists exist to save you Gold. Dig & Clean looks simple—dig, clean, sell—but detector Luck, shovel Power, and treasure rarity interact in ways that punish bad purchases. This hub collects our current-meta rankings so you know what to buy first, what to skip, and how the six rarity tiers compare before you spend a hundred thousand Gold on the wrong shovel.
We split rankings into two focused pages. Use the best gear tier list for detectors, shovels, and spray bottles with costs and stats. Use the treasure rarity tier list for Common through Mythical glow colors, income expectations, and farming priority. Cross-read both before island trips—gear tiers mean nothing if you do not know which rarity glow you are chasing on Shipwreck Cove.
How we rank gear
Gear tiers use S through F bands based on stat efficiency per Gold spent and endgame relevance—not vibes.
Detectors rank primarily on Luck, because Luck rolls rarity before you dig. Range breaks ties. The Platinum Detector (x12 Luck) is the undisputed S tier; Rusty is F.
Shovels rank on Power first, Walk Speed second. Amethyst Shovel (9 Power, 25% speed) anchors S tier; Plastic Shovel is F.
Spray bottles rank on cleaning Power, but whole-category priority sits below detectors and shovels—Turquoise Spray Bottle tops sprays while Basic stays F.
Upgrade order the meta agrees on: detector → shovel → spray → polishing station speed. Full tables live on the best gear tier list.
How we rank treasure rarities
All treasures belong to one of six rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythical. We tier them by typical sell/display value, spawn rate, and gear required—not by personal favorite items.
| Meta band | Rarities | Player action |
|---|---|---|
| Chase | Mythical, Legendary | Polish, display best stats, hunt on late islands |
| Core profit | Epic, Rare | Polish often, sell or display by weight |
| Early filler | Uncommon, Common | Sell for upgrade fund; skip polish |
Glow colors on the ground preview tier before digging. Detailed color notes and Luck requirements are on the treasure rarity tier list. For what to do after you dig, see the rare treasures guide and polishing station guide.
Who each list is for
Beginners — Start with detector and shovel B-tier purchases (Copper/Silver detector, Stone/Metal shovel). Read the Getting Started guide alongside C-tier gear so you do not over-save for Turquoise spray before your first island unlock.
Mid-game farmers — Aim for Gold detector and Gold shovel minimum before paying Shipwreck Cove fees. Target Epic glows; polish Rares only when weight is high.
Endgame collectors — Platinum Detector, Amethyst Shovel, Turquoise Spray, max polishing bench. Farm Sphinx Sands for Mythical index entries.
When tier lists change
Dig & Clean is live on Roblox—new gear tiers or rebalance patches can shift costs overnight. We update rankings after major patches noted on the updates hub. Redeem codes after updates too; limited Luck boosts can temporarily change which island is best farm.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Dig & Clean questions.
What is the best gear in Dig & Clean right now?
Platinum Detector (x12 Luck), Amethyst Shovel (9 Power), and Turquoise Spray Bottle (114 cleaning Power) are the top-tier trio in the current meta.
Should I upgrade detector or shovel first?
Detector first. Luck determines rarity, which matters more than dig speed until you are already finding Epic and Legendary glows regularly.
How many treasure rarities are ranked?
Six: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythical. See the dedicated rarity tier list for glow colors and farming notes.
Do spray bottles affect treasure rarity?
No. Sprays only speed cleaning. Rarity comes from detector Luck and island choice.
Where are detailed stat tables?
On the best gear tier list page—each detector, shovel, and spray entry includes cost and key stats with tier labels.
