Dig & Clean Roblox Treasure Rarity Tier List
Common through Omega ranked by value, spawn rate, and gear requirements.
Every buried item in Dig & Clean rolls one of seven rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythical, and Omega (Update 1). Your detector paints each dig spot with a glow color that previews the tier before you spend shovel swings. Luck on your detector shifts probability toward the top of this list—another reason Aquamarine and Platinum detectors dominate the best gear tier list.
This page ranks all seven tiers for the current meta: how often they appear, what they are worth after cleaning and polishing, and where to farm them. For post-dig decisions, read the rare treasures guide; for Omega farming, see Omega Items; for condition multipliers, see the polishing station guide.
How rarity tiers work
Rarity is fixed when the item spawns. Cleaning reveals type and base stats; polishing raises condition but never upgrades Common to Rare. Final Gold comes from rarity × weight (KG) × condition, whether you sell instantly or display in your museum.
Island choice matters: starter sand skews low tiers; Shipwreck Cove biases Epic and above; Sphinx Sands adds 4× island Luck for Legendary, Mythical, and Omega hunts. Even on premium islands, Omega remains the chase tier—expect long sessions with ×850 Luck and code boosts.
Full seven-tier ranking (best to worst)
We rank by typical endgame value and index prestige, not by how fun a Common coin is to find on day one.
S+ tier — Omega
Glow: dark red / deep crimson (Update 1).
Spawn rate: lowest in the game; practical farming on Sphinx Sands with Aquamarine Luck.
Gear need: Aquamarine Detector + Aquamarine Shovel minimum.
Income: top sell and museum display band; examples include Crystal Skull and Sapphire Skull.
Action: always clean, always polish, display on museum second floor, sell duplicates only when mint.
S tier — Mythical
Glow: brightest, most distinct signal (often red/pink premium FX).
Spawn rate: extremely low everywhere; slightly less punishing on late islands.
Gear need: Platinum Detector + Amethyst Shovel minimum.
Income: can sell for millions of Gold at high KG and mint condition; best pieces earn massive passive display income.
Action: always clean, always polish, display best stat copy, sell duplicates only when mint.
A tier — Legendary
Glow: gold / orange premium highlight.
Spawn rate: rare; meaningful on Shipwreck Cove with Gold+ Luck.
Gear need: Gold Detector and Gold Shovel baseline; Platinum/Amethyst for comfort.

Glow: purple.
Spawn rate: uncommon on Cove; regular on late islands with mid+ Luck.
Gear need: Silver/Gold detector; Metal/Gold shovel Power.
Income: reliable mid-late profit; funds Platinum savings.

C tier — Rare
Glow: blue.
Spawn rate: common once Silver Luck is online.
Gear need: Copper+ detector; Stone+ shovel.

Action: polish high-weight copies; bulk-sell low-weight after cleaning.
D tier — Uncommon
Glow: green.
Spawn rate: frequent on starter island.
Gear need: starter gear sufficient.
Income: modest; funds early detector tiers.
Action: sell for upgrade Gold; skip polish.

Luck requirements by target tier
| Target rarity | Minimum practical Luck | Recommended detector |
|---|---|---|
| Rare | x3–x5 | Copper → Silver |
| Epic | x5–x8 | Silver → Gold |
| Legendary | x8+ | Gold → Platinum |
| Mythical | x12+ | Platinum → Aquamarine |
| Omega | x850+ (Aquamarine) | Aquamarine Detector on Sphinx |
Luck does not guarantee Mythical every session—it tilts rolls. Pair x12 Luck with island fees covered by Epic sales so empty streaks do not bankrupt you.
Rarity vs gear vs polishing
Rarity sets the base band. Weight spreads value inside the band. Condition from the polishing station multiplies the result. A Legendary trinket in rough shape can lose to a mint Epic coin—still, tier priority favors keeping Legendary and Mythical copies.
Detectors find rarity; shovels unlock the dig node; sprays only reveal the item. Never confuse cleaning speed with better tiers—upgrade path stays on the best gear tier list.
Farming priority by account stage
Early: ignore glow color anxiety; sell Commons/Uncommons; save for Copper/Silver detector.
Mid: hunt blue and purple on Cove with Gold gear; start polishing purple.
Late: Aquamarine Luck sessions on Sphinx Sands targeting dark-red Omega glows; index chase for Mythical and Omega.
Redeem codes when Luck boosts appear. Track patch notes on updates in case rarity tables shift.
Sell vs display by rarity
| Rarity | Display | Sell |
|---|---|---|
| Omega / Mythical / Legendary | Best stats, mint polish | Duplicates only |
| Epic | High weight mint copies | Lower rolls |
| Rare | Select index pieces | Most bulk |
| Uncommon / Common | Never | Always |
Seven rarities, one pipeline: detect the glow, dig with enough Power, clean, polish top tiers, and let Omega pieces fund every upgrade on the gear list.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Dig & Clean questions.
What are all seven rarities in Dig & Clean?
Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythical, and Omega—from lowest to highest value and spawn difficulty.
Do glow colors match rarity tiers?
Yes. Detector highlights preview rarity: gray/white Common, green Uncommon, blue Rare, purple Epic, gold Legendary, premium FX for Mythical, and dark red for Omega.
Which rarity is S+ tier?
Omega is S+ tier above Mythical—rarest spawn, highest sell and display potential, and Aquamarine gear requirement on Sphinx Sands.
Which rarity is S tier?
Mythical is S tier—extremely rare spawn, high sell and display potential, and Platinum/Amethyst gear requirement.
Can polishing upgrade Epic to Legendary?
No. Polishing only improves condition. Rarity is set when the treasure spawns underground.
What Luck do I need for Legendary treasures?
Gold Detector (x8 Luck) is a practical minimum; Platinum (x12) is recommended for consistent Legendary and Mythical farming.
Where should I farm Epic and Legendary glows?
Shipwreck Cove is the first major hub for purple and gold signals. Later islands like Sphinx Sands improve top-tier odds further.
